BLUETOOTH is an industrial specification for wireless personal area networks(Pans) first developed by Ericsson, later formalized by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group(SIG). The term ‘BLUETOOTH’ is often used to describe a new technology using short range radio links, intended to replace the cables connecting portable and/or fixed electronic devices. It’s the ability to communicate, to access the internet, email and information services anywhere at anytime. It has been adopted by both the mobile handset and portable computer industries as a means of exchanging data wireless.
