Electrical Project (ECE) On Data Acquisition of Flex Nozzle Using Strain Gauges and LVDT's

Abstract: This is a (ECE) Electrical project report on Data Acquisition of Flex Nozzle using Strain Gauges and LVDT's. A nozzle may be defined as a passage of varying cross section, through which heat energy is converted into kinetic energy. Its major function is to give thrust into aerospace vehicle. A strain gauge takes advantage of the physical property of electrical conductance and its dependence on not merely the electrical conductivity of a conductor, which is a property of its material. Rocket launches have become a familiar spectacle. Newspapers, movies and television frequently shows us the images of the first moment of lift-off. Impressed by the large quantity of gasses released at the tip-off rocket, a knowledgeable spectator will deduce the relationship between cause and effect. As a perspective observer he will have in fact discovered the principle of propulsion, which links reaction force to the ejection of a mass. Expressed by an equation and applied to rockets, this principle is: F=q.ve Where ‘F’ is the reaction force which we call thrust, q is the gas mass flow rate and ‘ve’ the exhaust velocity of gasses.
The figure above gives a descriptive vision of a solid rocket motor. It is designed to ensure the combustion under pressure of the propellant grain it contains. The report tells about the ignition system, attitude of missile, classification of TVC mechanisms etc. The report is also helpful and useful for Aerospace engineering students.
